About Seda Domaniç

Seda Domaniç is the founding editor-in-chief of Vogue Turkey. After more than ten years at the helm of the magazine, she is now a global brand strategist, consultant, and journalist. Passionate about traveling and designing one-off journeys, she contributes to local and international publications. Seda graduated from Georgetown University with honors in International Affairs, holds a M.A. in International Relations from SAIS, John Hopkins University and a PhD degree in Political Science from Sabancı University. After working as a journalist at CNN and CNBC, she served as a marketing, communications and business development executive for various companies and international organizations. Between 2010 and 2020, she was the editor-in-chief of Vogue Turkey and the managing publisher of GQ, Conde Nast Traveller, Robb Report and National Geographic brands in Turkey, while also contributing to Condé Nast titles as a travel writer. She is a certified yoga instructor and an adamant advocate of sustainable business practices.

Sinan Sökmen is the founder and CEO of Istanbul Tour Studio and a trilingual professional guide specialized in Istanbul for over 15 years. His company, Istanbul Tour Studio, is an award-winning boutique travel agency that creates perfectly designed experiences across Turkey. Sinan was born into a family dedicated to hospitality and it is no surprise that he became a travel designer early in life. In time, travel has become not only a vocation but an endless passion. He studied business administration at Kadir Has University and Universidade da Coruña; all his studies and journeys made him a true global citizen. Sinan has extensive experience with hosting international VIP guests in Istanbul ranging from Shakira to Massive Attack, Eddie Redmayne to Jamie Dornan, Antony Bourdain to the CEO of Alibaba. He is a real foodie and an adventurist; there is nothing he would shy away from trying. He loves photography and shooting videos.
